Nau mai, haere mai. Trace the footsteps of Carmen through the streets she shaped and the lives she touched in Pōneke Wellington. A city she transformed with glamour, grit, and unapologetic pride. From the late 1960s to 1980, Carmen lit up Wellington with around a dozen businesses, including a cabaret, coffee lounges, brothels, tearooms, and second-hand curio shops.
