Ginger’s national award-winning lesbian pop-ups are a celebration of lesbian culture and inclusive of the entire FLINTA* community. We’re back at Wellington Pride after the parade for a night that starts with kōrero and finishes on the dance floor.
The evening opens with our Leading with Pride panel, hosted by Lana Searle from More FM National Breakfast. The panel brings together guests who’ve been hugely influential within our queer communities. You’ll hear what they’ve built, what they’ve pushed through, and what it’s taken to keep showing up over time.
After the panel, we switch things up with our 3 Minute Mates activation for anyone keen to meet new people - friends, dates, future event buddies, or simply widening your circle a bit. It’s structured, optional, and easy to jump into.
There’ll also be a special guest performance, a love letter wall featuring messages from around the motu, and a dedicated sensory space available throughout the night.
Later on, legendary queer DJ Emily C Browning takes over the decks and the dance floor fills up. Rainbow supplier bar.
