The physical home of the Wellington Pride Festival - for 16 days only!

This is our space, and it’s your space too

Working with the Urban Dream Brokerage, we’re really excited to be able to have a physical hub for our Festival at 28 Blair Street, Te Aro (the space previously known as Betty’s).

The hub is

  • Partially accessible - the main floor is wheelchair accessible but there is also a mezzanine up stairs. A wheelchair accessible bathroom is located in the building next door.

  • Open daily during the festival from 11am-7pm, for you to drop in any time

  • Where we’ll be holding some workshops, meet-ups and small events

  • Able to be booked for free Festival events that you would like to create and host.

In terms of set-up, the main area will have trestle tables that can be moved, and chairs, as well as seating at the existing bar. There will be cushion piles on a higher level to relax in, and then the mezzanine has banquette seating for cosy conversations.

Here’s some ideas for programming we’d love to offer - could you create them?

  • Queer parenting meet-up

  • Board game evenings

  • Meditation

  • Chair yoga

  • Lunchtime dance party.
