We’re celebrating 40 years to the day since the Gay & Lesbian Fair in Newtown on 15 March 1986 began what has become the Wellington Pride Festival. Be part of our all-day family friendly fair event with stalls, stage performances, delicious food and drink and a jam-packed day of LGBTTQIA+ celebration and vibes.

If you’re coming into Te Whanganui-ā-Tara for Pride, you don’t want to miss this event - it’s our biggest, and it’s free! Come down and hang out, can’t wait to see you there.

Bathroom Secrets

Bathroom Secrets is an up-and-coming Pōneke DJ. She’s ready to bring you all the queer classics with a club twist that will get you moving.

Blink Bogan

She’s crash-landed from Cyberspace! The ethereal entity, Blink Bogan, is the Psychedelic Supermodel of Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Winner of Queerable Arts 2022 and Wellington Drag Performer of the Year 2023, this couture creature does not play around!!

Cordelia’s

Cordelia’s is an indie-folk trio, with a hint of feminine rage! Thematically, they explore queerness in the light of societal norms, heartache, identity, and the patriarchy. Cordelia's play a variety of instruments to create a laid-back and enticing acoustic sound, and they can't wait to share their music with you!

Eddie D’Amore

He’s a little bit vintage and a wee bit dapper and a whole lot sparkly. This silver-throated crooner will charm your ears with a voice so sweet you can’t help but fall in love. Who is he? He’s your Italian, opera-singing lover boy, Eddie D’amore.

Homer Neurotic

He’s a multi-award-winning drag king and Wellington’s resident sad boy, it’s Homer Neurotic! Here to bring the emotion to the stage and show that boys do cry, Homer is a pint-sized powerhouse performer who’s blue in more ways than one.

Isadora

Isadora has been enchanting the stages of Wellington City for twenty-two years with their art. Performing original pop and soul songs at Out in the City 2026, it is bound to be an exciting and tantalising performance for all audiences.

Jak Darling

A household name in their own home, it's 2025 Billy T Nominee Jak Darling! "Charming, sensuous and cheeky" and "one of the funniest people in the city", buckle up for one of Pōneke’s powehouse performers!

Jay Tiemann

Jay is the funniest comedian to move from North Carolina to Wellington in the past year. He’s been featured in Weekend Laughs at the Fringe Bar and the Rainbow Showcase in this year’s Fringe Festival.

Neil Thornton

Neil Thornton (Best MC and Best Comedian, Wellington Comedy Awards) is a local hero and international touring comedian with years of experience making people laugh around the world.

Ness Quick

Blending high glamour with dark fantasy flair, Ness Quick is Wellington's drag dairy delight. Bold, theatrical, and impossible to ignore, they sure captivate audiences with striking visuals and larger-than-life energy. Olivia Dreams

Singer. Actress. Dancer. This next performer is none of these - she’s TV’s darling daughter and the sweetheart of Drag Race Down Under Season 4 - it’s Olivia Dreams.

Robin Yablind

He'll steal your girl, your man, and possibly your heart, because he's Robin Yablind!  Robin is an Aotearoa-based performer, choreographer, and dance teacher, known for bringing his creative and cheeky style to crowds and classes across the country.  Also an award-winning cabaret artist, this takatāpui showboy can be found delivering alternative takes on classic masculine archetypes on a stage near you.

Shania Tame

This queen is ready to pay tribute to her namesake and bring some 90s country-pop bangers to the Pride stage. Man, she feels like a woman, it’s Shania Tame.

Slay West

Slay West is a part of the Māori drag girl group The TIWHAS and has toured the country with the girls and as a solo act. She’s your Mx Congeniality 2024, a drag hostess with the mostess, and show producer in the Wellington drag scene.

Anna Dobbie

Anna is an up-and-coming Wellington comedian. Fresh from their first show at the Fringe Festival, "Bad Girls". Anna was a finalist in the 2025 Wellington Raw Comedy Quest and was nominated for Best New Comedian at the Wellington Comedy Awards.
