Show your support as we march for visibility at the Wellington Pride Parade! This iconic event brings the streets of Pōneke to life in a spectacular display of colour, community and joy.

From 4pm, the atmosphere builds early with street celebrations kicking off all along the Parade route. Arrive early to snag a prime spot, enjoy the music, and soak up the pre-Parade energy as Te Whanganui-a-Tara prepares to celebrate.

From 5pm, the main event sees a fabulous procession wind its way through Courtenay Place and Dixon Street toward the iconic Cuba Street Rainbow Crossing. We want everyone to be part of the magic—once the final float has passed, we encourage you to step off the sidewalk and join the Parade yourself! Follow the tail of the Parade as we collectively take over the streets in a powerful display of solidarity.

The excitement doesn’t end at the finish line. Once the Parade concludes, get ready to dance in the streets! With live DJs keeping the energy high, the route transforms into a massive open-air party. Whether you’re marching, cheering, or dancing under the stars, join us for an unforgettable day of pride and Pōneke spirit.
