Wellington Pride Festival officially runs from 5 - 21 March, but you’ll find our events here on either side of that as well, as Pride is not just a two week thing.

The majority of these events have been created by the community. However, the Wellington Pride Festival Committee produces the following Signature Events:

Over the Rainbow
Join us, the Pride Parade and the Party Boys for a fabulous evening of drinks, nibbles, live DJ beats and fabulous company while raising funds to support the Wellington Pride Festival and our 100+ rainbow community events.
La Bola Negra - fundraiser screening
LA BOLA NEGRA tells the story of three men whose lives are intimately connected through desire, pain and inheritance, across three different eras - 1932, 1937, and 2017.
Fundraising screening: Big Girls Don't Cry
Rural New Zealand, 2006. Over one transformative summer, 14-year-old Sid Bookman discovers desire, identity and the internet, as she imitates the people she longs to be loved by. Join us for a fundraising screening of this new film.
Pride Roller Disco
Come and join us for two hours of joyful resistance on small wheels! Relive the nostalgia of the mid to late 20th Century with a playlist of classic hits! Tickets and Ticketing information available through Seaside Skates website.
MarkeT4T / parTy4T: a fundraiser for PATHA
Trans and allies, let's get together to defend the right to puberty blockers while appreciating our amazing trans, nonbinary, intersex and takatāpui talent! This event starts with a market of crafts and arts, followed by bands, then the R18 evening will have comedians, drag performances and DJs! Fundraising for PATHA.
