Wellington Pride Festival officially runs from 6 - 22 March, but you’ll find our events here on either side of that as well, as Pride is not just a two week thing.

The majority of these events have been created by the community. However, the Wellington Pride Festival Committee produces the following Signature Events:
6 March - 22 March: Rainbow Windows of Wellington
14 March: Pride Youth Ball
15 March: Pride Hīkoi
15 March: Out in the City
15 March: Pooches in the Plaza
22 March: Pride Picnic
Sincerely, Queerly, Glamorous! Quiz Night
A queer-focused quiz night, with bonus art market and preview of works for auction the following evening. Licensed event, koha supper provided.
The Cha(i)se in Lace
A cheeky LGBTQ+ drag quiz night serving games, prizes, and live performances.
Pride Cocktail Making Class & Dinner
Pride Cocktail Making Class - Sangria drinks reception, then come behind the bar to make a classic cocktail of your choosing. Round off the 90 minute class with interactive party games and a fun quiz. A dinner with a set menu will follow the Cocktail Making Class.
Beer'n'Pride
A queer pub quiz featuring amazing quiz masters and drag artists! All proceeds go to Naming NZ to help young trans and non binary people pay for Name Changes and new IDs when they transition!
